HFA Board Member Joins Crowe Horwath

Sal Shah and David Benz have joined Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest public accounting, consulting and technology firms in the U.S. They are focused on growing the firm’s asset management services and serving clients across the country. Both are based in the Crowe New York office.

Shah, CPA and Board Member of the Hedge Fund Association, joined as a partner in audit services. He brings more than 25 years of experience leading and serving as an advisory and assurance services practitioner for investment company clients. Shah is a graduate of the University of Calcutta.

Benz, CPA, joined as a partner in tax services. With more than 20 years of experience, he now leads Crowe’s tax services related to the investment funds market. Benz is a graduate of both Purdue University and the Indiana School of Law.
