Rob has spent more than 25 years providing tax and related consulting services within the asset management industry. Over the years he has provided services for hedge funds, private equity and venture capital funds, commodity pools, open-end and closed-end funds, and various private placements and fund structures. Rob consults with clients and attorneys on fund tax issues including the startup, formation, and ongoing operational issues of a fund; state tax issues; U.S. tax withholding issues; taxation of financial products; transactions; and tax law changes.

Before joining FORVIS, he worked in the asset management practice at an international firm in Denver and the Greater Washington, D.C. area as well as other national and regional firms. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events as well as publishing articles for industry journals.

Rob is most passionate about his volunteer work with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He has been involved with the M.S. Society in various capacities for nearly 30 years. He has served as treasurer of the board of trustees for the Colorado–Wyoming chapter and is currently on the board of trustees of the Greater D.C.–Maryland chapter.

He is a graduate of University of Delaware, Newark, with a B.S. degree in accounting. He is a licensed CPA in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Virginia.
