Paul is a Director in the FORVIS Dallas-Fort Worth-Waco audit practice unit. He has experience with various fund strategies, consisting of private equity funds, hedge funds and venture capital funds, as well as their underlying portfolio companies.

He has built his career around leading and coordinating audit engagements for clients ranging from startup funds to established fund complexes with multiple entities. He has served as the engagement executive with the responsibility of planning and executing financial statement audits for various fund investment strategies, including traditional long/short equity hedge funds, traditional private equity, real estate funds, and oil and gas program funds. His work with alternative investment funds has provided him with the experience of auditing complex, level 3 valuations aided by his work with the underlying portfolio companies giving him a knowledge base of both the investment management and commercial industries.

Paul is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a director of the North Region Resource Board for Special Olympics Texas and is Secretary of the Board of Directors for Wilderness Trek.

He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. degree and an M.P.A. degree.
