Martin Litwak is a lawyer qualified in Argentina, United Kingdom and the British Virgin Islands. He also holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Law from UCEMA (Argentina).

Prior to founding Litwak & Partners, Mr. Litwak has worked for some of the most prestigious law firms in Argentina (Abeledo Gottheil Abogados), the British Virgin Islands (Ogier) and Uruguay (Ferrere).

Mr. Litwak has a 15-year broad-based corporate and finance experience and his professional practice is focused on providing legal advice to international financial institutions, especially in Latin America.

He routinely represents investment funds of different types and magnitudes in all aspects of their operations. During the past eight years, Mr. Litwak alone has formed hundreds of offshore investment funds for his clients worldwide.

Mr. Litwak also has expertise and experience in the structuring of trusts, funds, foundations and other instruments relative to estate planning and management.

Martin Litwak also acts a consultant in structured finance and capital markets transactions including asset securitization, syndicated loans, and trade and project financing. His services also cover a wide range of international transactions, such as cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, capital market offerings and debt restructuring transactions.

He is an active member of the International Bar Association, the Inter-American Bar Association, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is also a member of “Team BVI”, a board of advisors to the International Finance Center of the BVI, and he is Director of the Hedge Fund Association for Argentina and Uruguay.
