Lisa oversees the legal and compliance function and other legal compliance initiatives at Choreo. She and her team have primary responsibility for legal services, regulatory filings, implementation and testing of the compliance program, new regulations, and disclosures.

Prior to joining Choreo, Lisa served as chief compliance officer for a large, registered investment adviser based in Chicago that offers wealth management services, asset management services, mutual funds, and private funds. She previously oversaw the acquisition and integration of a registered mutual fund, two hedge fund families, and several wealth management firms. Earlier in her career, Lisa served as general counsel for a commodity trading adviser and commodity pool operator and vice president and legal counsel for a large fund of hedge funds, which was a subsidiary of a significant French bank.

Lisa is the Midwest Regional Director for the Hedge Fund Association, serving from November 2016 to January 2021, and returning to the role in April 2023.

Lisa lives in the city of Chicago. She has a passion for traveling – especially to Italy. She enjoys teaching adult students at Loyola’s Institute for Paralegal Studies. In 2014, Lisa was nominated by students and won Loyola’s Excellence in Adult Learning Award for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Lisa received her B.A. in Political Science (Western Illinois University), DePaul College of Law and holds a Law License in the State of Illinois.
