Jamil French is a capital introduction and financial/legal advisor specializing in global private markets. During his career on Wall Street as a corporate lawyer, Mr. French represented and consulted for large and small fund managers, blue chip companies, investment banks, lending and investing institutions. As a former Managing Director at Credit Suisse, he served as Chief of Staff to an executive who oversaw the firm’s global marketing and corporate communications functions. Mr. French also served as Director and Senior Counsel for Pershing Advisor Solutions, a New Jersey-based broker-dealer and subsidiary of BNY Mellon that provides services for investment advisors to High-Net Worth and Ultra-High-Net Worth investors with complex needs.

As Managing Director of Stonegate Global Fund Services, a global fund formation and administration company, Mr. French offers fund structuring and back office solutions to emerging and established investment managers. He has taken away from each of these positions a deep understanding of the challenges facing the investment community and the ability to help business partners find effective solutions.

Mr. French received an A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University in 1997 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2001 where he served as a submissions editor for the Harvard International Law Journal.  In 2015, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association named him a “Rising Star”–an elite list of legal professionals who achieve excellence in their fields and have demonstrated a commitment to social justice.  Mr. French holds Series 7 and 63 licenses on the Rainmaker Securities brokerage platform and is admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States Supreme Court.
